My research activities cover a wide range topics that include: Development of Nanomaterials, Nanoindentation studies of Materials, Development of advanced coatings for high temperature applications, surface modification processes ... along with other advanced topics.

3.                  "Advanced bio-inert ceramic filter materials with graded macro/micro/nanoporous structure manufactured using microwave sintering process", funded by: King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) under National Science and Technology Innovation Program, Sept. 2009-present, Budget: 498,000 USD. This is the most competitive grant in the country.

 

4.                  "Development of Aluminum Based Nanocomposites through Powder Metallurgy and Novel Sintering Technologies for structural and tribological Applications", funded by: King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) under National Science and Technology Innovation Program, Sept. 2009-present, Budget: 613,000 USD. This is the most competitive grant in the country.

 

5.                  "Performance Evaluation and Life Prediction Modeling of Industrial Gas Turbine Blade Coatings Used in Saudi Arabia", funded by: Center of Excellence of KFUPM-MIT collaboration, October 2009-present, Budget: 340,000 USD.
